Contact & Commissioning Art

Commissioning art is a deeply personal affair. The work should say far mor about the client than the artist. Character, mood and atmosphere should ouze from the canvas. Textures, palette, setting and context are vital too. The commissioning process is simple. In the case of an artistic portrait, once the subject, canvas size, and brief are agreed, about four sittings are required of two hours each. These are arranged at the convenience of the subject, either at their home or at my studios in London and Paris. In the case of bespoke art, a fairly detailed dialogue is followed by initial drawings and studio mock ups (smaller versions of the final piece).
